Consumption

Little things can make a big difference when it comes to helping the environment and everyone can play a part.

According to WRAP (the UK government's waste advisory body) each year the UK produces approximately 4.4 million tonnes of avoidable food and drink waste (i.e. food and drink that could have been eaten)1, creating harmful greenhouse gases as it is disposed of in landfill sites.

• You can reduce the risk of spoiling by keeping your KIT KAT out of direct sunlight – perhaps in a biscuit barrel or in the fridge.

• If the perfect break involves a cuppa and a KIT KAT, try to just boil the amount of water you need. Over-filled kettles can waste a lot of energy, water and money2.
