Community Engagement

We are proud to support FareShare, a charity working on two important issues in the UK – food poverty and food waste. FareShare redistributes  surplus, fit-for-consumption food from the food and catering  industry to charities who serve an average of 35,000 homeless, disadvantaged or vulnerable people each day.

“In 2013, Nestlé donated 391 tonnes of fit-for-consumption food (930,859 meals worth of food) to FareShare, from our surplus, which the charity then redistributed to its 1,000 charity members, such as hostels for homeless people, breakfast clubs for disadvantaged or vulnerable children and luncheon clubs for disadvantaged older people across the UK”
